The Armitage Sports Centre is home to many of the University of Manchester sport clubs and community teams, being the perfect place to train on our wide range of high quality spaces, including our new full size floodlit 3G pitches installed by SIS Pitches.
Alongside this, we have a split level fitness suite which holds an extensive list of excellent equipment that you can use with purchase of a membership.

Car Parking
Parking
The centre will now use RingGo to pay for parking in line with the tariffs below. You must register your vehicle if you expect to be parked longer than 3 hours at the site. If you are staying for any duration less than 3 hours, you do not need to register and will not be charged.

Car park location code for both car parks is 39807.
Charges will be issued to unregistered vehicles and any vehicles that are not parked in designated parking bays. Parking conditions can be found on our signage displayed around the centre – see image below.
There may be times when our car parks are full. If this is the case, we would recommend parking off the site close enough to walk. If you know that the site will be busy before driving in, we suggest carpooling or using alternative transport methods to avoid the disappointment of not being able to find a bay to park in.
